Wally Cragg who described the park bench as "beautiful" with Mayor Frank Beveridge at the unveiling of the Park Bench at Centenary Park dedicated to the memory of Val Cragg in recognition of her lifetime of service to the Charters Towers Community

The Charters Towers Regional Council welcomed the loved ones of Val Cragg to Centenary Park for the unveiling of a park bench in her memory.

The highly respected local, known for organising the Centenary Park Charity Market and many other community contributions, Val Cragg passed away in November of last year.
