Founder of the Charters Towers newspaper Daniel Sumpton has stated “the most important message” leading up to local election results.

The Charters Towers region will soon learn who will lead Council through the next few years as the local government elections are held on March 16 2024, and Mr Sumpton has stated “what needs to be known.”

“I know more than many how very bad people do not like when you put your thoughts out there, and they will grow resentment for anybody who states a differing opinion,” Mr Sumpton said.

“The most important message, what needs to be known leading up to the local government elections is that what you believe matters.

“You must say what you have to say and be proud of it.

“The people who hate you for speaking what you believe to be true are not worth pandering to.

“I have put together a full article on this topic for the Charters Towers Newspaper and I hope people take the time to read it, there is so much truth in it.”
